Ciao Valentine , thank you for your reply, i appreciated very much! Ok for farcebook, i know what you mean, but i share my stuff just with selected friends and it's not so bad. Anyway, i am so busy and involved in my real job, primary school teacher, that i have no time for other useless occupations, except mail art!
Hello Valentine, this is my second mail art project. In the first one, Voice to people, you were the first one to send your work, i was very happy! With all the works i received i was able to organized 3 exposition, 2 in Trento and 1 in Vicenza. you can see the events in my fb page. But as you may understand, it's not so easy to find a free place for art expositions, i have contact with Sat, Società Alpina Trento, i am sure that during 2015 i will be able to show all the works, but i need to received a good number of mail, good enough for showing! So far i have already received a good number, but there is time up to next march, so please help me to make a good job! I think that around february i will know when and where! Ciao ciao...
I love the name, Trouble. My three are all so sweetly troublesome. I no longer have plants or flowers in the house, am constantly picking up items that have mysteriously fallen on the floor and cannot leave any loose string or thread around — I once found my youngest with a thread hanging out of her mouth, having a bit of a gagging fit; I slowly pulled the thread out of her mouth/throat to find a sewing needle on the other end.
Again, I will need to put some thought towards where to hang your mobile . . . away from high flying, feather-shredding kats. :]
Hi Val, your mobile arrived yesterday, übercool. Thank you. I am trying to think of a place to hang it, but am in desperate straights for a safe zone. In these chambers, cats rule the domain and anything with feathers just might seem fair game. I will not let it be so.
Val, I received the rituals of repetitions. I am unsure of what to do… Normally I document everything in lots of places. You have said, NO BLOGGING so does that mean you don't want me to document your work on the Ritual mail art blog? Does blogging mean talking about it or putting it somewhere?
Val--Just want to let you know that I've been enjoying your "My life would have been different " vinyl record series. It's a great showcase for your inimitable humor.
In 1983 I already lived in Venray (also Limburg), before I moved in 1986 to Amsterdam. Before Cadier I lived in the States btw; first in San Marcos Ca., and after in SD. I came back to the Netherlands in 1981
Hi Valentine. I don't know if my former message reached you. But here again. I live in the south of Maastricht, at the Belgian border with Vroenhoven in a quarter that's called Daalhof. I know Cadier; lived there myself in the early eighties in the Prinses Beatrixstraat. Keep well
as it happens, i am also a big buddy holly fan. i don't have a shrine, but i do have 2 very good friends who are from ropes, texas, which is near to where buddy grew up. a number of years ago, at my request, they brought me back a photo of buddy's headstone at the local cemetary in lubbock. it is somewhere in my vast paper archives. if i can locate it, i will send it along to you.
Just on here for a minute and saw you had a birthday recently. HAPPY, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU DEAR VAL!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a grand time and wonderful day my friend. Miss you all and looking forward to getting back to IUOMA.
