YAH! Artistamp Heroes!

Information

YAH! Artistamp Heroes!

Group to share the artistamps which you've received from... Your Artistamp Hero(es)!

In the past years I've received wonderful artistamps (also known as cinderella stamps).
Recently I was surprised by some more beautiful self-created stamps. I will publish the awesome beautiful artistamps by Ptrzia and Alan Brignull in this group later. And the fantastic lion stamps by Eraser Heed you already can see here.
Moreover, there's the wonderful artistamp sheet you see below, created by Fraenz, who brought various mail artists together (and I'm feeling honoured being part of them - thank you very much, Fraenz!).

The above mentioned mail artists have something in common. They're not only mail art colleagues, but they also are... My Artistamp Heroes!

Of course there are more mail artists who I consider a real Artistamp Hero. No doubt they will appear here in future, too.

And as there are Many More Artistamp Heroes, I created this group.

And I am pleased to invite you to share your received artistamps, to celebrate the fact that you have Your Artistamp Hero(es), too!

Such a good idea a stamp in memory of Guido. And great to see Thom active again, I got a nice card from him today.

Wonderful artistamp received from Thom Courcelle. A tribute to Guido Vermeulen, who we are missing a lot.

So thoughtful. Thank you very much, Thom!

Katerina mentioned him and showed a picture of his flower artistamps on 5th of August, and I agree: also Cascadia Artpost is an artistamp hero!

The ones above were posted by Katerina, too, but here they are in 'green'. And below an other one! With a delightful rubberstamp print of what flowers need: Sun!

Thank you very much, Cascadia Artpost!

For the 25 years of IUOMA, artistamp hero was Ruud, of course!

He sent these, designed by Lisa Spathi, and  i really used them!

Katerina, thanks, you did well; that is how they were meant to be used  and Heleen, you are just now been given the title of Researcher of the Year of the Horse and Protector of the Perforated Artistamp by Her Majesty  here in Retailia. This is for your consciencious work on tracing wheels. Those two you mention also make slashes not dots, one of them actually says so and the other looks similar. Your research is very valuable, it saves us all time and money.

Don't worry, Martha, I'm always happy to see you, wherever you are! (I mean, happy to read you, and while reading I imagine your picture with the hat :-)

There are many more places where you can get tracing wheels/dressmakers roulette (nice word!), see for instance here. Even the ones with deeper teeth I think bad, because they make stripes, no round holes as postage stamps have.

And, watching the wheels at the google link linked above: alas the best type isn't a real wheel but a rubber stamp...

(by the way, this one looks good, too, and this one, they're from overseas, so if they export to NL and US, I think there should be in the UK, too)

Mail Art Martha ...my 2013 artistamp heroine :-)

They were stickers, but I photocopied them and cut them as "stamps". Yay!

Oops! I am on another place , I wanted to apologize Heleen, teh site is not German but Ducht so no hope I could read it, but if and when I might be in Holland I shall try to find one . Still I think I should stick with yourstamps.eu

back again, cannot get away from you girls! What brings me back is the dressmakers roulette in that German site, Heleen. Its teeth are deeper than on mine which might make it a better tool for the job. I have to get my diccionary and puzzle out the German to see how to get one.
