Hi there

Your website...or, let me rather say, your work/philosophy, is remarkable. I have to say that from just about the first sentence I read, and the first images I saw (the mandalas, though you don't use that term) I was itching for discussion. Like - the fact that you  distinguish between 'musician' and 'artist'. Not musician and 'fine artist' - but musician and 'artist' - is intriguing to me. Another example, you refer to eastern religions  - but the question I have is whether you see the insights derived from them as different from those derived from science ? (not old fashioned science - rather, the science that confounds the scientists!). For me, your art makes visible some of the mystery of mathematics.  I think about the sorts of things on your website so much - and I envy the certainty with which you are able to stake out your position.

I would like to send you one of my mandalas - ( which are very un-mathematical - but which are also are born out of grappling with the nature of reality). It will not contribute to your understanding - except that the mere act of communication creates a new reality. A kind of a Schrodinger's cat. Of course, I may have misunderstood your work - if so , please forgive me.

In any event, if you would like to exchange images or thoughts, please send me your address.

Earthling, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on October 29 I was unable to welcome you on board.  At the time I was in a Celestial Journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end when you decide it’s the right time to start trading snail mail art. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe

Terrene Embassy

Republik van Patland

Caixa Postal 24827

Curitiba-PR

80510-970

Brazil

I look forward to see a piece of yours in our terrene mailbox. I will do my homework after receiving yours. This is nothing less than a Celestial Promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland Official Envelope Provider.
