@ Erni: How coincidental! Great finding. I never have found vinyl anymore (only CD's) since the late eighties when CD's started to rule the world. Wow, and Produced by Nile Rodgers while Made in Holland!

@ Val: Of course Herman Bread is the last one to think of, because Bread is dead.
But WIld Romances survive - maybe you should call yourself Vinyl Valentine, of just Valentine, as Valentine might change Peggy's mind into a more romantic one, while Vinyl - and all other names - might make her think of music too much?!?
Or maybe Maxwell is a good name for you (the late Valentine's family name was Maxwell, and that both makes us think of the Maxell cassette tapes which we used to copy the records when the vinyl was too expensive and of 'maximum and well' - that would be interesting for Marie Antoinette, wouldn't it?)

Dear Herman (of the Hermits):

Nope, this year Greek Easter is tomorrow...Easter Sunday as in France and other places you see :-) Sometimes East and West shall meet!

You are opening up new possibilitiesd, Erni -- the Everly Cousins, the Righteous Nephews, the Nolan Nieces, Sly and his Step-Family Stone, the Jackson Six plus their 250 relatives in Memphis, etc.

'Edan'? Do you mean 'Don', as in Phil & Don Everly?

Suggest a title for this photo:

My suggestions:

'That's the last time I'm dating someone who I 'met' on Facebook'

'Even is she invites me to her place for a nightcap, I'mnot going.'

I'm surpprised that our Dutch vinyl friends didn't think of calling me Herman Brood (brood = bread). I saw Mijnher Brood, and his Wild Romance, play at Erasmus circa 1978. Herman was so smashed he fell off the stage.

(Pegy Sue would like to deny she is having a Wild Romance with Vinyl Val)

[Vinyl Val is hoping...]

Chirpy, chirpy, cheep cheep ..........................aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!

That band should have stayed in the middle of the bleedin' road until a big lorry came along, and then ............................aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!

I think Lynn mentioned the right R&R name: Vinyl Val!

Comment by Valentine Mark Herman 8 hours ago: OK Gang...what should I ask Peggy Sue to call me??

Answer by Heleen (not a R&R name either, but that's okay because I grew up in the early years of New Wave) :

- MarAnt? (abbrev. of Mark/Marie and of Antoinette, or Adam Ant)

- Valmar Her (sounds a bit Harry Potterish - reminds me of Voldemort - so maybe not that rock and roll but rather Gothic..)

- Buddy Herry?! Yeah, that rocks!  (the late singer of Peggy Sue, and HERman/HERrie of course)

- just Herman? (sounds like a part of a great duo: Herman and Erni, or group: Herman and the Ernits, Erni and the Hermits, etc)

- or Mark? Mark V. and Marie A. sound great, too (or is that too rappish?)

Has anyone else good ideas for Val and his new fan?
