can you name what city this is?  this is an old pic of a German friend of mine who now lives in the states  she used to be a prison guard there--she is the blonde on the left. i can so see that

in junior high they told us we had to learn metrics because the whole world was going to be switching to that. well that never happened in the US and I never learned metrics, but that sounds far away
