Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

As the greatest 365er of the project ever (I say that with caution - there have been some GREAT 365ers and everyone's is an achievement. But come on THREE 365s?!) closes the door on her third project, I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to Mim for her inpiration and give her a round of applause.

*clap*

It doesn't really work, but heck what a lady! What a collection!

I'm done! I am filled with a sense of loss already, but tomorrow, I'll clean my studio, retired a couple of rubber stamps, bring out some new ones, dispose of some of my scraps from this year (ones that survived the flooding) and think about what I'll work on next. I'll stop by and visit occasionally. My best wishes to all, Happy New Year, congratulations for wherever you've gotten to in your project, best wishes as you start your project, and with the motto from Altspeakers.com - Creativity is a Practice.

Hi friends,

I'm starting my 365 adventure on January 1st.  I joined IUOMA over the summer, after a series of life events led me back to mail art after a few years hiatus.

Anyway, my particular challenge isn't so much making the art, or mailing the art, but documenting and posting it!  In fact I've shied away from mailing to IUOMA contacts for awhile, as I've worked through my documentation "issues" so to speak. (with apologies to anyone who has mailed me a piece and not received an official kudos post online.  I guaranteed I love what you sent.  and one of my goals is to make up for that at some point.  better late than never right?)

So that's me.  I'm very curious to see how my work evolves over a calendar year of consistent production!

Hey Rose and Mary, you may want to post your address at the top of this page under "our address". That way we may send you a welcoming piece of mail art. Nothing is more fun or encouraging than getting mail art from others in the group.

Hey L Mary & Rose - I'd be more than happy to add you before the 1st if you want to upload your warm-up pieces before you dive right in. Always good to have company on the journey that's for sure!
