Someone said that if it was about Tuscany...everyone around the world would be protesting! And Abruzzo is just as beautiful..if not more so!

During the months of May and June, 1978, seismologists were helping oil companies to research for oil in Northern Greece, there is some but probably but not that much. However, on June 20, 1978, Thessaloniki suffered a major earthquake. We all thought about the people of Abruzzo when the towns had a horrible earthquake recently.
One of the images on my collage card is a seismologist's infared picture of earthquake activity in Abruzzo....the colors reminded me of oil spots in water on the street pavement, isn't it like that?
NO oil for Abruzzo!
