Earthling: This morning a hummingbird on celestial mail service left City of Peace, the capital city of Republik van Patland, a tiny point in the Universe where this scribe comes from. The Postbird faced Planet Earth in a celestial mission. The objective is to deliver a heaven certified mail artwork kindly produced just for you by Cælestis Scriba, today´s  most distinguished celestial mail art master of Patland.

Keep the skies of your vicinity under close observation. Celestial messengers – all of them – tend to show up when nobody expects them. The opportunity is propitious for you to meet, first time ever, a Postbird on heavenly service if you wish to. Have luck! Keep me posted.  Scribe

Bonjour Harry! Dank je wel for the great Arty Slide  -- hidden away in a special little package, and wrapped in a special Arty Slides International folder. A very neat package indeed! Regards, Val

This is a VERY GOOD story my poistal friend.  The inspiration for the name Republik van Patland (forget the word platland your letter mentiones) comes from watching a SAA aircraft landing at Rio de Janeiro Airport.  On one side of the fuselage the name of your country was written in Afrikaans. Based upon that spelling I decided to create the name Republik van Patland (Patricio´s land), a handosme country name for a celestial scribe home land. The Koekenaap Railway Station photo is excellent.  Now it´s time for me to do my homework. I´ll keep you posted.

Bonjour Harry!

Your 4 very wonderful hand-painted photo slides have just arrived. They are now mounted on a little canvas.

The Exhibition opened last week, but when I go to the Médiathèque tomorrow, I'll shuffle the canvasses around, and add yours to one of the panels.

Thanks again for your contribution, and best wishes, Val

Harry, this is very late but still a friendly welcome to The Eternal Network from a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway Universe called Republik van Patland.  A perfect start here is mail-art exchange. I would like to be the other when you decide it’s the right time for you to start trading art.  If it’s the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe
Caixa Postal 24827
Curitiba-PR
80510-970
Brazil

II look forward to see your piece in my terrene mailbox.  Yes! I will do my homework after receiving yours.  This is nothing less than a celestial promise.  I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider

Oh I'm excited - another South African joins up! Cool. About size-You can send any size you want to send, unless there's a specific Mail Art call which has a size requirement. I've had some really large pieces and some tiny ones. Katerina, Greece, sent me a tiny envelope and it made it through the mails. Erni, Gemany, sent a big packet. It's up to you. I just sent out a collage computer disk, remember those?! I can't wait to see what you send out.
