I love this photo (and the welcome you sent me). Birds are so amazing to me. Your photo captures so much of the spirit of the birds that visit me every day!

Cool--glad you're having fun with mail art. I work in a lot of different mediums. I'm actually a professional illustrator/painter. If you want to see the full scope of my work, check out my site: http://www.alchemicalwedding.com

Hey! I did get your mail art! Sorry I haven't replied in forever, my computer doesn't let me log onto IUOMA. D: Did you like the postcard I sent you? I'll send you some more stuff next week - I would be delighted to combine mail-arting with penpalling-friend-esque things. :D Also, thanks for sending me that link, I'm gonna try my luck at making one!

Yeah--I'm pretty sure I'm on that site. I've been doing mail art for over ten years, but it never occurred to me to join iuoma. Go figure... :-)

I am willing to take photographs ..and draw from them....I would like that your fine for me drawing your photograph..in writing..I want to right to keep the picture..and draw from it..in my whims..My co-worker allowed me to do that..and each picture I have done with her..hasn't turned out to look 100% like her..but I have done other people and it works out fine..so I don't like to make promises..But the pictures I drew of her..are cool..either way..
I just finished a picture of Katerina Nikoltsou ..and I feel it turned out well..when I send it to her..I hope she will agree..If not ..I will just have a long and hard art cry..and get back to work..!

another idea is to open an envelop that you have (open it completely even the glued parts) and trace it on cardboard to create your template... then no crooked uneven corners! yipeeee!!! and if you want to make it bigger smaller, just trace it again smaller or bigger adjusting the dimensions. trickier but has worked real good for me in the past. good luck!
