Yayoi - 1.11.2017 - 1

Mail art by IUOMA member Yayoi S.W. (Kirkland, Washington, USA)

January 11, 2018 - A HUGE (albeit belated) welcome and thank you to Yayoi S.W. who appears for the first time on the venerable pages of my blog. Of course Yayoi S.W. receives the customary nod, wink and secret handshake extended to all new Tenderfoots.

As far as I know, Yayoi S.W. is a newcomer to the Eternal Network and is sending some FAB work through the postal system and posting some beautiful and interesting work here at IUOMA-Ning. Yesterday I dispatched a package (Asemic Front starters) to Yayoi. So, clearly, I am looking forward to exchanges in the future. Stay tuned!

SaraMarie, I'm glad you like. And you don't need to explain any more about.

Only - in terms of synchronicity - I was talking with Amy Irwen just now on this EXACT piece on fb. We're puzzling over it. Something going on, I'm telling Amy. Although my paranoia could be clouding my usual genius.

In short, you have the cat pic & "grandma and Grandpa" and the piece is just charming. But do you notice the "indeterminate vines" in the found text. that's heavy conceptual art stuff. That's not a coincidence, is it?

More here than meets the eye, I suspect/

So good call SaraMarie. I think you have good intuition.
