Trash Bubbles have evolved, but they haven't changed much.Could it be the nature of the packaging?

Does anyone remember that first blog post? I called them Trashpo Bubbles. Somewhere along the line, I dropped the Po... Poor Po. And yet, the poetry remained.

The Trash Bubble Mobile created for a local Earth Day art show was classic! Every single one of those pieces went out in the post when the mobile was disassembled. Angie Cope received this one...Then, there was that Trash Bubbles! article in GreenCraft magazine... Neil Gordon should have the 45 from that series... they were created together, all with the same red, black and white palette.Let's not forget the blog... it has morphed over the years, abandoned for months at a time, but thrives in spite of everything. Even now, it is beginning to settle into a kind of soothing rhythm. Monday Morning Mail Art Call posts are popular and the most reliable. Tuesday Trash Bubbles are gaining in both categories.

Trash Bubbles continue to emerge from the detritus of The Studio at Piney Creek Acres. There is talk of several upcoming events in the works to celebrate the Trash Bubble. Sadly, none manifested in time for the 5th Anniversary, 2012-2017.

None of it would have been possible without Dkult, Diane Keys, the Mother of all Trash Creations and the group All Things Trashpo. Nor would it be possible without Jim Leftwich whose example of trashpo inspires without discrimination. Last but not least, I must thank the Giver of Shrines for my brush with Greatness which led to my trash-lightenment and the title DharmaDaDa.

Happy Trash to you, until we meet again!
