August 29, 2015 - I do not know why I am so lucky to have a wonderful and generous correspondent like Annette Kesterson. I always deeply appreciate the work she sends. I am thrilled to share this engaging summery piece she sent. Here is the reverse side:

I adore Annette’s work, and there are always curious wrinkles that keep it from being run-of-the-mill Mail Art NouveauX. For instance, note the overlaid copyright information at the bottom of the first scan. I find that curious. Also note the use of cut up in the text, and the references to gender identity that result. I believe Annette Kesterson puts serious thought into her work, executes it with considerable skill and has an artistic vision of significance. I just have not been able to work it out to my satisfaction yet in a way I can explain. So I look forward more than ever to receiving mail from her.

A NOTE TO TENDERFOOTS

Thx BG, I reached a point where space was running out for ML2 and I asked people on FB what they thought I should do. We have enough of a following and enough interest that I just couldn't see ending it (M-L).

M-L has achieved what it has achieved (modest but solid) because of all the people who have been willing to take the time to produced specially themed work. You (BG) are among the important and faithful contributors. Thanks for all you have done. Thx to all the others who send such great work as well.

Specific feedback I did receive was that all the old postings from ML2 MUST survive in archival form. So I am making sure the old blog is preserved.

Some folks know there was an ML1 that was destroyed. I won't go into the whole story, but I was able to recover some of the material from ML1 (if you were on it) and it can be found on ML2. But sections of ML1 are gone forever, unfortunately. You won't find it. (The rumor that Grigori Antonin hacked it and destroyed it is untrue. "The Enemy Within" was a lot closer to home.

I really enjoyed Natural Born MinXus and I think Mink Ranch will be even better - the format is very clean.  Just the ranch land and a few fence posts, with a lot of critters running around.  You are a tireless wrangler.
