Bonjour! I probably sent you a card with British stamps -- I send lots like that, and envelopes too. I did indeed follow the thread, or rather the handbag. Yesterday I saw that someone had put up on the site a drawing of the Queen and her handbag, and it struck a very definite note. I dug out my October file of Mail art and there,the very first one I got, was your Clafoutis 05 card with the very same handbag. The card, alas, didn't have a return address, so I have been wondering who Clafoutis was for a long time.

And you were my 'first' too!

But impossible to contact, because  Clafoutis 05 didn't provide a return address. I searched for him/her, but with no luck until..

I finally worked who you were when I saw your image of Queen Lizzie and her handbag on the site a day or so ago. Now the mystery is solved.

To celebrate that, Her Majesty will send you something (on a fashion note?) back in the next few days.
