LIMITE, SCAMBIO, SEGNO
LIMIT, EXCHANGE, SIGN
A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

Limit
border between earth and water,
the river harbor and the trade routes,
the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
artistic and architectural influences,
mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.

Project by Rizoo Group, Tiziana Baracchi and Pro Loco di Portogruaro
Format and dimension of work:
square of maximum size 21 X 21 cm
No e-mail

No returns, no jury, no fee, no sales

Exhibition in Portogruaro, 2010

Hi Katerina - Thanks for the nice words. I don't know that I ever thanked you for all the fabulous pictures you took for the Mail Art World. You did a great job on the show. Sorry for the offices that were lost - that sounded bad. But the show itself looked really fun. That little Feather Tale booklet was cool too! Loved it. Thank you!

A lot of the snow is gone in Chicago. Lately it has been lots of fog! It is very strange.
I'm glad you are participating in the Darwin mail art project! People need to learn the facts and logic behind evolution, and people need to learn that you can believe in evolution and God at the same time. But that's just my opinion. :)

Hi Katerina - I went to Cornelius, Or today and I did arrive about 12:05PM and the Postmaster told me that I missed your friend Pat by about 15 minutes! Darn! He said they waited around for a while for me. I was right on time, but they must have been a little early. I was really looking forward to meeting them too. Aw well. Now I have to post those pics - maybe I will wait till morning as I am just pooped out right now. Cheers Test!

Hello!
I got your lovely, colorful New Years art in the mail! You make very beautiful shapes and colors with paint. Thank you! I am sending you something I made last weekend at a theater festival. I hope you will like it!

Hello! I just want to drop you a note to say thanks for the warm welcome and the card with the dots and dashes! I love the front cover of the envelope too! I have since posted your card on my blog, but I'm not sure how to "tag" your work or if that's even possible yet. I"m a little slow in creating my work, but I will send you a piece soon! Cheers!

Hi Katerina, I haven't been down to Cornelius yet - I believe I will be going Thursday, but maybe Friday. It will take all day to go there and return. I assure you that I will show you pictures no later than Saturday. Kerry said he is jazzed to have me come down and meet me. So I am pretty jazzed up to make his acquaintance and see his Mail Art display. It's raining like cats and dogs here all week - but it will be fun anyway. Fun never escapes from me!

It is ugly and cold here, the beautiful snow is now full of black and gray soot and salts. The wind is awful and worse than the cold. No earrings in this cold and a big ski hat. Helena 4 and Nathan 2 have a lot of my mailart pinned to their playroom wall and they love it and make up stories for the cards and are learning to be creative f

rom it.
