Thank you for putting my barcodes in your show.  Sadly I never recieved anything back from Sandra Lefever, but at least she gave her barcodes to a good cause!  Just joking.

Hi Van, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message you receive.  I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway Universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on October 5th I was in a heavenly trip far beyond the Milky Way. Now I’m back to planet Earth and would love to be the other end when you decide it’s the right time to send another envelope to the network. If that’s the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe
Caixa Postal 24827
Curitiba-PR
80510-970
Brazil

II look forward to see your piece in my terrene mailbox.  Yes! I will do my homework after receiving yours. This is a celestial promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider.

Van, I, too, sent an original piece, but it's made using two vintage postcards that had been sent to people in the United States between 2 states, North Carolina to Ohio, California to Pennsylvania. Vacation postcards. The title of the piece is a quotation written on the back.

Hi Van,  What I sent was a copy of one of my original collages called "Lost at sea".  I hope that is what you wanted...?  I live on the coast of CA, and I swim in the sea as often as possible.  The collage was made on a paper bag with acrylic paints. Jane
