I'm doing this due to fact that galleries here ignore that form of art as well as other's. Just wrapped a miniature show which as never been done here. The group sponsoring this event is a British group that has ties to the other 40 international groups. That will be the guest list, people from all over the world.

Wolfgang! I just saw your cow pic at Wilma's page! :~)
Are those "yellow" tags (ear muffs) on "black" cow ears?
HaHaHaHaHaa! You have me laughing..lol

"The Last Battle", Wolfgang?
Well, at least you had a chance to bike-it and get all your
worries out on the road along the canal. Now I understand
the yellow&black markers, the sports-t-shirt! If it was here
in Thessaloniki, yellow and black would be for the GREAT
Harilaou soccer team: ARIS (name means god-of-war, Aris=Mars)

Anyway, I sympathize with you on the results of your elections.
And here in Greece, we shall have our elections on this coming
Sunday, October 4th! Let's see if I shall cry, too?

Now I wait to see the other photos that you will post from your bike trip.
I am so happy that you have sunshine. Here at the seaside, it is
beaming, and warm, and I don't want to leave and go to the city!

"Wish you were here". We could sit under the olive tree
and speak about the rich getting richer, and we poor getting
poorer!

Take care,
Agapi,
Katerina

KALIMERA Wolfgang,
'sending you greetings from the seaside. For some reason, "summer" has returned at the end of September here in Greece! After weeks of grey and rain, now we are blessed by warmth and sunshine! I am sending some your way on this lovely Monday!

I was immediately interested in your photo for today...what motion!
what emotion? Is there a story behind the image? Your art/photo work
really speaks a thousand words!

Art keeps us smiling!
Agapi,
Katerina

Elder Street Gallery calls for entries for a postcard art show to be held during the month of October, 2009. All work will be exhibited. No jury and no returns.

Create the postcard on an existing 4"x6" post card or a 5” X 9” post card or start from scratch on a blank 4" x 6" or 5” X 9” piece of card stock. The art does not have to be done on an "official" post card, just something of similar weight and size. Please include on the back of your postcard - Your name, full mailing address, title of artwork, medium and email address, (website if you have one) .The artwork on the postcard can be either horizontal or vertical. All artwork can be mailed as a postcard or sent inside an envelope.

Materials will vary, depending on the technique you choose. You may create the art with any technique, and all media are acceptable, including collage, markers, crayons, pen and ink, colored pencils, rubber stamps, tempera, acrylic, watercolor and printmaking. The only consideration is that the artwork cannot have a raised surface. Please no nudity, racist, or pornographic art.

All work will be on display at Elder Street Gallery, in October. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 16, 5:00 to 10:00. This reception is free and open to the public.

Mail postcards to Elder Street Gallery, 1101 Elder Street, Suite 109, Houston, Tx 77007.

Tricky can be OK.

I'm straight north a little bit from New York. Bonaventure is east of me. Towards Poland but not as far as Newfoundland.

KALIMERA Wolfgang!
"Blues" is good...sometimes.
Tis the color of my Aegean Sea...and the color up above,
when the grey clouds part and blow away. Tis the color
of my tall Greek grass, and someone's butterflies...
Blues is good, my friend.
It makes us appreciate and love the smiles
and the lol laughter, and the good-feel times.

I am "blinded by rainbows",
(ah, those great Rollin Stones!)
and I usually try to"find the sunnyside of life"
...even when blue.
You, too, please.

I will send you now some Greek sunshine,
to chase your blues away....
I cannot scan any pics or montage images
this weekend because :)
I am at my seaside shack with only my
little laptop. Be patient until Monday, or Tuesday,
to see pics from me.

But KEEP SMILING!
(and posting your great photos !)
Love ya,
Agapi,
Katerina

The ancient Greek Leda holds her swan, (really the Greek god Zeus)
but I am NOT going to be serious about swans today.
We are "going bananas"! Thank you, Wolfgang, for making it
a fun, laughing day!
