Hello Chris — nice to find someone I know here. Just decided to take the plunge & register, do you find this group interesting and/or useful?

Hello Christopher,

I'm interested in exchanging some mail art with you, and see from the IUOMA artistamp group site and other sites that your interests extend to artistamps and book arts, overlapping with mine. I have been creating artistamps and mail art since the year 2000; book and pamphlet binding is a much more recent interest, say in the past five years, but I'm hooked. Just finished mailing a four-signature 60-page pamphlet to 59 participants of a mail art call with the theme "Keep the (U.S.) Post Office Public." (Whew, a month's worth of labor but fun...)

My address until February 1st:

Cascadia Artpost
4609 Briggs Drive SE, #304
Olympia, WA 98501-5515

We are in the process of purchasing a house (plenty of room for a studio!), and so I will be mailing out particulars closer to the time of relocation.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Jack @ Cascadia Artpost

Ah, thanks Christopher! It's great seeing your process too!

Is it okay if I abscond a few pics for a blog? I will credit you, of course!

I got some slides on Ebay almost exactly like those you've pictured (1st in your blog) - haven't used them yet, but some precious reliquary eventually...

btw/re that stamp: do you make them yourself, or do you send the design out for manufacture?

Thanks again Christopher - you have an amazing gift for Cornell-like wonder (among many things!)

Best,

Claire

Ah, Dearest, Dearest Christopher - I received your MA today, and it is absolutely Stunning my friend! Truly, I am utterly thrilled by this precious little beauty... (and your attention to detail goes straight to my maker's heart...) My thanks are immense indeed!!! ^_^

It didn't scan very well, but I may fumble w/ my new camera soon... that is, I may not really be able to blog, as much as it deserves to be featured.

Thanks again! Best, Claire
