I received your postal art yesterday, and it is awesome! I brought it to work and showed our friend and fellow mail artist Rick Yates. I love the colors and the graphics! Thanks again :) Enjoy the sun and have a great weekend.

Hey there: I for one hope that Heebee Jeebee Island stays open for a long time to come! I enjoy your descriptions as much as the artwork I see there; great place for some artistic R&R.
Very cool about the HBJB Island artiststamps!! I hope I see some soon. You do inspire me. Take care, Rachel
P.S. - got the collabarative postcard (am not getting to the PO too often with my schedule) Love your side! Will post it in the next day or two and on my own NEW blog.

Waaaa hoooo! The healthy dose arrived yesterday. Love the stamps, the sticker, the envelope, everything! (Sharon loved the sticker too) I keep pulling it all back out of the envelope to look at it. The "add and pass" is SUCH a cool idea. I must do that soon. Thanks a ton!

Hi Test,
Jennie's super book is what ultimately hooked me on mail art. Sharon (Kennick - "the Faux Real Republic") and I read it while driving back from Arkansas a few months ago. We stopped at a convenience store in New Mexico and bought a lot of candy we had never tried before - one of the book's suggested mail art exercises. So, I sent Jennie a candy wrapper postcard and got a chocolate bar in return. Awesome. I'm now practically camped out by the mailbox. See ya in the mail!

Really like what you did to our postcard - very cool for such humble beginnings! ;-D You inspire me to learn digital. No worries on the other card. Thanks for letting me play art with you! Rachel

Your "View All " page is wowyzippy. Seen as a group is quite a treat. Do you have all of these and more on a wall together?
Your Chapter 4 , too! You knitted yours nicely into the three preceding. Just like in the Novel novel your writing flowed the story forward.

Hello, Just checking if my mail art(s} arrived. The muse woke me at 3:something a.m. and insisted that I do the second half card, which I did like better.
Well, I've been working in the garden all day and I am wobbly from so much sunshine and moving perennial that have the size and root system of small trees!

I soaked off the soil left on my arms and legs. I'me ready for bed now so I can do it all over tomorrow. First hummingbird and dragonfly today - very cool! Hope you're well. Rachel

"Dr. Test", your reconstructive work on our art box patient was quite impressive. Good as new! The side dents are barely visible and I think this actually adds some "personality" and interest to the piece. Thanks for your tender loving care. To put your mind at ease, the box was empty. I think somewhere on the box I had actually written (painted) "empty" but really can't swear to that. The box was stuffed with tissue paper only. I'm looking forward to my next dimensional work that will go your way. Thanks for the terrific compliments...my ego is pleasantly inflated! I, too, am an avid fan of all you produce and grateful to count you as a friend. Laughter and good health!

The start of your day sounds wonderful and made me smile too! :-)
Reminded me of a day when I got on a pony named "Magic" (beautiful mane, chubby belly, gentle eyes, bouncy trot) for a trail ride in the woods with soft rays of sunlight through the trees and I thought to myself with a big smile: "Oh, this is magical!". Yes, indeed!!
Just posted the revisions to my digital novel chapter, so I have time for the collabaration now. See you in the mail! - Rachel

Hi Test: I like your idea on a collabaration. I am finishing up some edits to my chapter on the digital novel and then will get started.
Is mixed media (not flat) OK?
Hope you're feeling better! Rachel
