Hi well you did get me a very nice little story in French somehow. I speak also Spanish and a bit of Italian but none of the Asian languages although once a Buddhist monk taught me some Pali. It was very difficult and I gave up. The same with German, I could not get my mind around the grammar.

Just received your Singapore card today and love it!  And I am glad that you liked the pictures of me in the hippie Halloween costume as well as the pictures of the blue parrot that I took on my lunch hour.

Kim  thank you! your beautiful leaf arrived today; it is a maple leaf isn't it? Do you have many maple trees there? I have a nice one which is covered in red leaves at this moment. I enjoyed the story in the postcard, do you speak French too? I have old French comics in the same style which I love reading even now, for relaxation.

Thank you for the nice card with the numbers.  I received it two days ago, but have been busy. 

I am doing ok.  I have been working temporary jobs in different offices.  Earlier this week, I began radiation treatments for the breast cancer.  So far, I am doing all right but I have been told that I may get tired later on.  If I start having problems, I can leave a temporary job easier than a regular one.  After radiation is complete, I will start looking for a regular job.
