I'm glad you like the trashpo vizpo. It is funny, because DKult DOES exist on the astral because we have created it. Maybe we do all connect in our dreams. The Hello My name is stickers were for a graffiti wall project that I did, but I prefer for them to say HELL. I think Blessed Father would approve. Glad you are doing well. The Do Drop In was out of coffee yesterday. I don't know this personally, but I've heard rumors. I'm sure the Dew Drop Inn serves chicory or kava coffee. They were rerunning that series you told me about "Trashopolis". Amazing show but it's too bad it doesn't appear they will be making more. all the bestest
Not to worry, Neil! Your mail art has arrived! I am not in the city to pick it up daily...but someone comes by the seaside shack and delivers once every ten days or so. But I haven't had a chance to blog all yet...will do and thank you soooo much ('ove the "tea chimes"!) xxx K
"Luddite elves," you are too funny Neil. Those creatures lurk in every room of my house, and they probably are full-fledged squatters in yours. Mail art to you soon, buddie.
Hi Neil--glad you liked everything. There is one more motivational trashpo piece in this series, for now anyway. The ACCePTED sticker is one of my favorite trash finds and to this day I can't figure out what that would be for. There is a bit of a glitch with the order for my next in the series. Hopefully the universe will provide me with more 'up with people' bits. good to hear from my favorite dew drop!!
it is definately hard to balance and unfortunately when things get hectic, art has to take a backseat. I am plodding away these days-getting a few pieces out here and there. I did something I thought I'd never do. I had a piece made into postcards. Not on a grand scale but it is a series I have made in the 'motivational trashpo' category. glad the laptop is fixed. I always suspected Luddite Elves were behind many system failures. They made our laptop crash recently too. then you have to start over putting all your crap on it. all the best
The crusin' Ludd Mobile has made it's way to the west coast. A little worse for wear, but after a little body work, it looks like it's still road worthy. Thank you! I could see myself in that ol' cruiser bumping along the road, shining the spot along the roadside looking for good trash n' stuff. Rockin' n' rolling, cuttin' and a pasting . . . k.
Hi Neil--so glad you liked the card and I'd love one from you too. No, I'm not a Jungian. My training was "Jr. Freud" but I've moved on to primarily CBT and am still working but cutting back....I have a daughter who lives in Hebron, CT. What else are you up to besides mailart?Hope to hear from you soon.
Neil - I'm glad that you received my postcard. I paint them using acrylics and then finish with a gloss varnish. Looking forward to seeing you here and in the mail! David.
Glad it arrived, Neil. Mick's involvement in the 2009 roaDkill Tour is definitely a story to be told and a mystery to ponder. Have you ever seen the late night hotel room footage of Mick in Dylan's "Renaldo & Clara"? That's my point of entry to Mick as a quasi-fictional character. Will Wilhelm Reich yet be vindicated? Only time will tell. Great to hear from you, DVS.
Thanks for the Mail Art - Oh yes, it did a bit of repairing of the world as it made it's way to my door, I've no doubt of that. Interesting about the dark hair and olive complexion. My husband's mom told him he had olive skin when he was a kid and he was quite worried about that. Poor kid. See you in the Mail!

Neil, so glad you liked....
Happy to see that the "tea" has arrived, Neil.
And now your laptop is back in order...amen!
It seems that Unilever and Lipton will take-over all the little tea dealers here in Greece,
let's see if we still get the colorful boxes of tea or fortune-telling tea bag tags?
