Aren't you restless now that the OPT is adjourned until 5/5...I don't know what to do with my afternoons! (HaHa)

Your mail is still MIA but my receipt of mail is erratic so I am not worried!

I don't know if it was your mm or somewhere else along the line.  I'll get this and add something so it will all fit back together again.

Well, here are pics of what I got from you. I hope this works. If you sent RR pics or something like that, they haven't arrived yet.

I've been trying to tell google who I am but I am fudging the details. I remove all my bad qualities. My online persona is sort of an idealized version of who I am. I leave out the icky parts. I put in the doubts but leave out the cowardice. I put in the self-hatred and leave out the fear. It's sort of like I'm a character in a 50s sitcom. Ozzie Nelson with some warts for realism but not that many and heavily airbrushed. It's an odd dance.

Diane, the google thang arrived. Interesting concept...I like it but it made me nervous. "What if my year in the joint turns up? Those restraining orders...the plaid speedo pics..." I'm going to write a song for Jon Foster's Sonic Mail Art Call..."Don't Google Me." Blog ETA: 2030....

Diane thanks for the the original MA you sent. I like it very much and what a nice surprise from you!!!!! The weather here has warmed up. Still a little chillyhere but the snow has melted. That in itself is a joy considering the amount that was on the ground. Will work on something for you soon.

Take care

Mostly labour law.and I also teach evidence - hence my huge interest in the OPT! I don't know Nancy - but I am a total legal drama series addict! Have a great weekend and I look forward to the peace!

Yes- it's all about the judge: she's the most nb person in the room. She's so dignified and full of gravitas - I feel quite proud of her as our representative of the judiciary on the international stage! I'm a law lecturer - I still practice a bit too. I must say I love the law despite its bad rep for boringness. I find it endlessly interesting! I'd like to do that collage collab - thanks.

Aha - so you are watching the OPT ( Oscar Pistorious Trial) ! We say M'lady or M'lord cos of our British colonial history. We ditched the jury system but most of the rest of our procedural law is British based. Substantive law is Roman-Dutch though - bit confusing! Guess what my job is??

Got a Bad Burlesque prize book today from our esteemed judge Vizma!!!!  Looks like I won third place for my sparkly g-string.  So who won first place, and did we need to pay to win first place? The prize is great--risque and very burlesque.

Yes, my wife "grew-up Catholic" but is not currently a practicing Catholic. However, I've never heard her say she s a recovering Catholic.

We had a few Catholic schools where I grew up and some of my friends attended them. Two girls in particular, attended the girls only Catholic School down the street. I always assumed that they were missing out on public school because that's where most all the other kids in the neighborhood went. (From a child's viewpoint) why would you want to go to a Catholic School everyday? Wasn't Sunday school enough? My Jewish friends went to Hebrew class on the weekends, my Buddhist friends went to Temple Class on the weekends . . . my Mormon friends, well, I had no idea what they did.

What made those Catholics be so persistent on having their own full-time school. It was a mystery to me.

Growing Up Catholic. Too funny. I, for one, did not "grow-up Catholic" nor any other system of guilt ridden system ;]

However, for several years I was an acolyte in a protestant church. I think I just liked being so because I got to control the lighting of the candles, you know, walking through the church with a wick of live fire. Quite a responsibility to an adolescent mind.

However, I did grow-up with many Catholics who went to Catholic School and got to see first hand the mind bending influence of "The Church."

Thank you for the card. I'm still waiting to hear things Nuns say [that I didn't already hear on a Cheech & Chong album].
