That's it! The envelope looks 100% not opened, so you fooled my eyes completely. This we *can* blame on age, for starters. More than once a mail-art envelope turned out (say, a year later) to contain something I'd not realized at first. Love when that happens.

Say, Fike, your fascinating cards+note arrived, thanks a lot. Glad you liked my envelope--but you forgot to open it. Check it out. Asemic! You'll blame the oversight on your age, so I will too. Won't you post your Picasso? N.B.

I suppose intuition feels closer to what I was expressing.

Thank you. Admittedly, I'm not at all familiar with recent research. I suppose it would be quite the cognitive feat to describe wordless thought in words. I didn't intend to attempt that...but I do wonder (fantasize even) how humans could experience it's existence in a concrete way. I don't know.

That's a long time to be doing mail art. How fun!  You must have quite the collection of mail. I don't have a very large archive yet but it could easily threaten to overtake my small art space if I let it. :-) It was nice hearing from you. Take care.

Fike, well he certainly had his "punk Rock" like moments, but he was an actor named Tony Curtis. I have on my kitchen table, my reply to your December mailing to me - hope to get it to the Post Office today. Best KV

NOLA has really blossomed since Katrina. You should get down there sometime. It's so laid back. I live in the Midwest and it's so sterile here! I miss the sensuality of New Orleans so much. I'm actually flying out on Wednesday to catch a little of the pre-Mardi Gras festivity.
