Hello Marcia,

Thank you for such a great card; airships are my favorite type of space craft.

Anyway, hope all is going well with your garden and that those Canadian Geese aren't giving you any trouble ;) I'm sure they'll be here soon.

Over and out.

Louise

Dear Marcia,

Please forgive me, because I forgot to say 'Thank you' for the stamps you enclosed in your Space shot.

So

Thank you for the stamps you sent me in your Space shot.

I hope that I am now forgiven.

Humbly yours,

Mission Control

For whom, Marcia? Me? Streinkov? Or the Great Gipper?

You are most welcome!  (Envelope is actually made from aeronautical maps ... some of which may have 'restricted' areas inside)

Apollo 2 Commander (now behind on everything!)

Dear Marcia, Dear Fiifi and Dear Alice,

Mission Control acknowledges the safe landing of the McKinney, Texas, space ship in Sigean, and send its thanks, too. I hadn't realised you were going to launch all those US Astronauttes into space at the same time. I don't know what y'all are going to do TV-wise here in France unless you can parlont francaise because all the American soaps are dubbed, and there ain't no sub-titles.

Codialement, Mission Control

Hi Marcia!

Yes, that is a tape transfer of my mailbox. I love tape transfers. I've been learning about all sorts of ways to do transfers lately, but tape is a personal fave.

You will see me in the mail and I hope to see you as well.

YAY! Fabric art from you!  SO amazing.  I really dig this art card- I must learn how you used acrylic gel- did you dip the whole fabric piece in it and place it? Or just lay it down like with regular glue?  It made such a cool, tough surface on the fabric that the bird stamp is very easily read.  Did you carve that too?  You are so multi-talented!

I went there looking for more 1950s ladies prints and instead found hunky shirtless firemen prints! They look straight out of a calendar, all muscely and posing! I'll have to invent a new type of mail art with them as the main subject. They are just too funny not to!

Visited Quilt Asylum today and left with WAY too much stuff. I like the really weird, funky things and they had lots. I've just started making clothing besides boxers and pj pants- I made a really cool flow-y white skirt that was nice. Oh and a pair of pants that were a crime against nature. Might start buying patterns after that catastrophe.
