Hi Sandra!!! Your envelope arrived and I'm HONORED to receive the great stitched Rain Mtn book-really delicate and beautiful. such a unique concept-reminds me of a flip book you make when you're a kid. The envelope was great too-would never have thought to flip a box inside out. I eat the same exact brand of Indian food too! Thank you sooo much!

Welcome back, and I'm glad that you had a nice vacation. You certainly received some excellent mail art while you were away, and thank you for the kind words about my little book!

Cheers!

Thanks for the wall comment! Glad you're enjoying sending things back-n-forth -- I love each and every single one of the things you send, and have one or two hanging up in my studio where I can see them and admire (did I mention that already?)...

>>  "Yay! I've posted your last card here. I love it the antique map image!"

Thanks! I was delighted to stumble across that heart-shaped map and it was fun to make that series of cards. There were four cards in all, and each one used different photos.

Speaking of maps: I've received the wonderful bird project documentation. I'm glad that you incorporated maps --- I enjoyed imagining the journey that each bird took!

Received documentation yesterday... Loved the printed bird on the envelope!

Looking back, I see that you thought I was talking about Simon's birds... I was asking about your printed birds. Easily confused! Birds, Birds! Everywhere a bird!

I was disappointed that you only received pics from 15 artists. I wonder how many of the 50 birds Simon has received....

Sounds like you've got the right idea! Enjoy the printing priviledges! I know I would! :D Are you still working on the bird piece or have you finished that and moved on? I just got a new professional carving set and can't wait to get back to carving out my own print blocks and stamps!  :D

I'm great, Sandra! How are things with you these days? We're at camp in Cook Forest this weekend... the weather has been gorgeous here! I wonder how it's been in your neck of the woods... Thanks for posting the link! :D

Sorry to be confusing!):-, but you are sending me a bird to add my art to, right? and then I am to mail it to someone else after I have added my art?  I was asking, "how did you decide who the birds go to after they are decorated, and can I be one of those people?"!   I love the birds!  Jane

My next question is how does one become a recipiant of one of your art birds?  I would love to receive one!  It's such a cool idea!  Jane
