I love your card, Rebecca, and thanks too for your kind note on it. Can't wait to see the catalogue--it's great of you to do it. Have a wonderful time up there!

And I am interested - ocean trash has come up in the Trashpo group before.

I don't remember the beaches in Maine being too awful. I remember walking the beaches outside Boston and the daily layer of garbage and refuse from the tides being so gross I nearly puked. Acquatic Trashpo, Hydro Trashpo, TrashPO-ceanic - this is probably really important.

Hi Rebecca, if you want to unveil it, I would think you'd get the most useful response from the artists in the Trashpo group. I am working on "Trashpo Jesus" for the Elgin show and am excited about that too.

I am glad you liked it and I wish you a great success with the show, I don't know what is wrong with my server but the Internet Gods do not let me go to your blog. I will come back later, I would love to see the show so far.

Hi Rebecca, we had a bad glitch with M-L. I have the post on "Wildlife rATING" back up again. It's an amazing piece. Many thanks, DVS.

Guess UK posting is not possible for you at the moment but fyi...

Here’s a UK postal experiment that I’m going to send two mailart birdies to (139 and tomorrow's 140) ... anyone else want to join in?
You and Yours, BBC Radio 4 would like your help comparing the delivery times of first and second class post. --> http://bbc.in/MsGHrB

We’d like you to send two letters or postcards, one with a first class stamp and one with a second class stamp, to:

You and Yours, Dock House, Salford, M50 2BH.

Please include your name and the date of posting. Two postcards or envelopes will do.

Taking part should cost £1.10 (60p for a first class stamp, 50p for a second class stamp). You’ll be helping us with a UK-wide experiment, and we’ll feature the results in a programme soon.

Hello Rebecca. Thank you for the precious dog postcard with the story about your escape Lyra. She sounds like a character! Snooky is a little bit of an escape dog - he'll dash out the door but then stop and wait for you to let him either into the car or to go for a walk. If there's a squirrel nearby, I think he'd climb up a tree after them.
