Glad that the card with birds and beetles was the right one to send to you. How synchronistic!

Sorry Badger, your Mail Art arrived just before we left for our thanksgiving holiday and when I got back I was so crazy busy, that it has remained in a stack of - to be answered by return Mail Art - which I haven't gotten to yet. Sorry I didn't let you know sooner. I can see you put a lot of work into cutting out those figures!

And it's Thanksgiving Day -- poor turkeys!

At least flamingos don't get eaten here.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Got 'em! The flowery envelope with all the ants (?) and the feathered card. Many thanks -- they are both very nice. Do you know what sort of bird kindly agreed to denote some of it's beautifuk feathers to your Mail Art? Thanks A Birdy & thanks A Badger, too.

I'll be mailing you something back soon. Regards, Val

Hi! I'm not sure that I understand what's behind all your numbers, but if you've gotten a new PO Box and are enjoying Mail Art, that's good news. My house number is 1 and my post/zip code is 11130: what can you make of those numbers? Regards, Val

Dear "A", this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on June 12 I was unable to welcome you on board.  At the time I was in a celestial journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end when you decide it’s the right time to start trading snail mail art. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe

Terrene Embassy

The Celestial Republik van Patland

Caixa Postal 24827

II look forward to see a piece of yours in my terrene mailbox. I will do my homework after receiving yours. This is a celestial promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland official envelope provider.

Welcome! My postal address is on my IUOMA page. If you send me Mail Art, and include your postal address, I'll send you Mail Art in return.

Dear Mrs, Mrs, Ms Badger,

Welcome to IUOMA!

It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor, and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest you take a look at the 'New to IOUMA' page (4th from the left at the top of the IUOMA home page) where you'll find a 10-point Introductory Guide that should give you an insight as to what is going on.

Would you like to exchange some Mail Art with me? If so, send me something to 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France, and I PROMISE to send you something back.

BUT if you want me, or anyone else in IUOMA, to send you any snail mail Mail Art back, you're going to have to provide us with your postal address/PO box number. If people have to ask you for it, then it gets to be a bit of an unecessary hassle for one and all.

Hoping you enjoy your IUOMA days.

Regards, Val Herman
