Mail Art Martha, that is some Abstrocity. Love all of it. The shapes, colors, and lines form a wonderfully playful composition. Well done, you.

I think I invented the word 'abstrocities' to describe my latest art efforts. It is a pormanteau word as defined by Humpty Dumpty, an authority in the use of English. The word 'slithy' for example is made of two words; lythe and slimy. (The Jabbewocky, Through the Looking-Glass, L.Carrol. op.cit.)

Abstrocity is made of abstract and atrocity. Here is one of them.

That commercial is hilarious! Zalop, never heard of it until now. Much better to cuss when in pain. Ha!

yes indeedy - zalopisms everywhere!

Nice to know that someone remembers the glories of fluxus - it seems all but lost on IUOMA

I think you meant swearing not searing, or is that a zalopism?

I did try to find some of the things that were written then but they have disappered.

It wasn't the searing that reminded me; it was the people sitting round a table 'inventing' daft new words.

By the way it is true that swearing aleviates pain but also does practising mantra meditation, all scientifically proven of course, by Zalop!
