I've made a set of stamps that are based on the "Keep Calm" poster. Mine read "keep calm and write letters" and are in red, purple and green. Typical though. I wanted to cut them using the stamp-edged Fiskars scissors I have. But could I find them? Could I heck as like! I ended up cutting them with several pairs of other craft scissors and now my right thumb is suffering. Ah, the joys of arthritis!

Since I last wrote I have also made another set of hen stamps and started on a series of "in memoriam" stamps, commemorating lost cats and hens of the family. So far I have made one, of our dear cat Salem. I, sadly, have two more to make, of Rose and Daisy, two of our hens. I will make them though, they deserve to be commemorated on stamps.

I made a new year's resolution to make at least one new stamp issue every month.
