While some of you are about to have your Thanksgiving dinner and later watch the football game, I am here in France where we do not celebrate Thanksgiving.  Although we have a lot to be thankful for, it's just never caught on, and is just another work day.

Luckily I am reminded of this occasion by Katerina.  Although it looks likes Thanksgiving is being celebrated with more snow than leaves on the ground.

So Happy Thanksgiving, and Thank you very much Katerina.

Katerina,

Although I am scheduled  off work today, I prefer to think of this day as MAKE MAIL ART DAY...with turkey on the side! Whatever you are doing...embrace it...life is short.

It's a WORK day in France? Awwwww...what a pity.

Today in Greece no one and nothing is working.

Maybe the Greeks decided to celebrate Thanksgiving Day?

Nope...it is "Strike Day" (one of those new holidays when no one works :-)

(thanks for the blog, my dear In Seine)

Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends...

who are thankful that the Pilgrims sailed across the Big Pond :-)
