From Claudia McGill, A True Work of Art!

I absolutely love it!  No words necessary, this piece speaks for itself.

Love the colors!

My goodness, I had no idea such interest could be excited by this 24 or so square inches, but thank you for all the nice comments and for having such interest to write about it. This piece looks more like the paintings I do (how surprising, it IS painted...I do wonder how I come out with these statements of the obvious sometimes...) Anyway. It is done on a postcard sized piece of a Cheerios box, I think it was - or if not that maybe some other container and maybe even one that one of my students gave me (they now bring in their suitable trash for me to cut to size and re-use. I get a lot of nice stuff that way!)

Anyway, thanks for liking it. it's fun to work on such a small scale.

Or in those fancier consignment shops where dowagers sell their hand-me-downs. Those places need a lot more vaRIety; right now they pose a great threat to eccentricity.

In a few years time, the thrift stores will be littered with TrasHpoLitzers that people donated just to get them out of their houses. We could always sell them on consignment in the DKult-everything is $2.99 store.

There might be paper to give back, actually, but I wouldn't. I'm Laughing, but trashpo power, absolutely! So many far worse things to be stuck with for life. It's up there in the top ten, in decent + decadent company.

I wasn't serious. This actually came up in a discussion: Once you receive a TrashPo Litzer, you are stuck with it for life. You are not allowed to return it. Someone asked about giving it back (as if there were something to return). You can't.

That's great news. Hurray for Claudia, and a good decision! It's hard to tell if the wire moves, but probably all wires never cease moving, so I keep learning that it's best to get used to it and avoid the pain of pain. 9:27 pm 06/01/2012 EST (future reminder for reminder-hungry self) ~~~

There's just enough trash in it to make it under the wire.

Oh, probably. No, wait a minute ... well, one can't be sure ... hmmm ...  :--}

Nice one - and so different from her Trashpo. Do you think she'll have to give her TrashPo Politzer back?
