I am so awe struck by the kind gift Erni sent me back in May.
It arrived in one of Erni's fabulous envelopes (above and below) ...
These two wonderfully wrapped items were inside - which of course, I ripped open immediately ... even though it's taken me a while to blog ...
- A fabulous picture book about humans and their dogs.

Thank you so much Erni. I haven't drank the Austrian coffee yet but I'll let you know if it's any good. I also haven't explored the CD ... I love the book, the add and pass and the gesture. You're too kind. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Nice--the "Red B..." can is maybe related to Vizma's Red Bag! Clay marbles look yummy.
Comment by Nancy Bell Scott on June 17, 2012 at 3:05pm I like how you put that and just wrote it in my notebook.

Comment by Angie & Snooky on June 17, 2012 at 1:24am I love that window too. In fact, I love lots of windows. Last summer or maybe the summer of 2010 - there was TERRIBLE flooding in Milwaukee - on top of amazing amounts of rain, the sewer system backed up into 100s of basements and people had to throw stuff out cuz things got covered in ... well, you know. That didn't stop me from recognizing these beauties. Two glass windows - basement windows - and 3 screened versions that I made into a triptych type thing in another area of my garden. Anyway. I move these around my yard - leaning against the fence or trees or whatever. I like them.
Comment by Nancy Bell Scott on June 16, 2012 at 11:35pm Isn't it, though. Beautiful weathered old thing. Very cool, Angie, and wise decision to let it be. If you decide to take it out and sell it, I'll buy it, don't forget. :--}

Hi Nancy! The window is on my garage - an old 1948 building. We've fixed that window up before but I kind of like the way it's looking these days. Kind of a mess showing from the inside making it look like my grandparent's barns and garages. I guess that's cool.
Comment by Nancy Bell Scott on June 16, 2012 at 7:07pm Angie, where is the window in these photos that complement Erni's envelope and contents so well?
