I received a mail art from Vlada Lapteva

Thanks to Vlada Lapteva!

Mail Art from Russia to Russia has become a rarity. Take a look at what little thing I received from Vlada. Work with paints, brush, with barely discernible collage elements.

The Summer in a hot city

Dear friends, sending mail from Your countries to Moscow can be very difficult, simply impossible. For example, from Canada and the USA it is impossible to send anything here (from France and UK it is possible). In addition, recent blogging on IUOMA reminds us that we are under more and more pressure from postal rates. So in this hot August, when the city's asphalt is melting, I am offering one-way postage for my collages. From Moscow it is possible to send mail not to all, but to many…

Thanks to Gianni Ramacciotti

Thanks to Gianni Ramacciotti for the collage with Trilussa 's poems.

Trilussa (1871 – 1950) is an Italian poet, and for this collage the artist chose a small poem, also presented in Russian translation (see photo). The author used a bingo table, very skilfully written text and made some more attachments. And there are…

I would like

On Tuesday, I would like to write down on a piece of paper the titles of all the unanswered emails that have accumulated in the messenger on this site. Then I will try to read each one and reply to each one. Keep in touch! - that's my fervent wish.

As You may have noticed, life goes on

So, the Internet still connects me to the outside world, which is very good. It is interesting that one person on the IUOMA site excluded me from his friends and forbade me to write comments to him. My guess is that this is such a manifestation of anti-war sentiment; this Mail Art artist probably implies that I, as a holder of Russian citizenship, am now filled with hatred, marching with guns in hand and all that. In fact, I live in a small room in an apartment building, taking care of my…
