You took a chance with the oh so delicate overlay, and it survived beautifully. Many thanks, Svenja ---

My blog behindness is so bad that even the old blogjams wouldn't work. Appreciated + adored mail arts have been hanging out on art tables, shelves, stools, chairs, the piano, and in to-acknowledge bins, to-blog bins, to-reply bins. They make the place look fantastic! They've also led to blog behindness panic attacks. Ack! Others who have had these know what I'm talking about. Today blogging will restart, in pretty much a random, casual, and gradual fashion; and the end will probably never be…

Wow, eh? The US Postal Service found this too difficult to deliver. Apparently it didn't like the handwritten first "e" in Nadine's last name. This came back today and I'm still laughing:
See, after studying it for 42 minutes, I noticed their circle around "Wendell." There must be hundreds of Nadines at #209: …

Oh, I enjoy this fine 15-scrapper from you very much, Jim: and this beautifully composed and stitched scrapper from Amy, which she says "is made of scraps just grabbed and put together--altho I used more than 3 pcs":…

He promised a music-composition mail art and he did it, with help from the low-tech gadget known as the dart: Second scan above is the back of the composition, with out-y dart holes. I am honored! Holes before music, holes marking the path for music, ending with…

This was the first mail art received from Meeah. Is this a concerned pug or what? Yah, it is. Meeah's insight. And remember to Join Now and Join Often. I'm there. Thanks, Meeah . . . (By the way, borderline agoraphobic…

She began at IUOMA by writing a most thoughtful blog post that had me thinking for a while. It struck me as perceptive, questioning, honest. Meeah's mail arts are multi-faceted; in a way they could be like taking a course in one envelope, in the best sense of the…

It turned out that the site/blog of CERULEAN was one I'd run across on the Net and bookmarked, and have been looking at for the past 2 years or so. His work has a wide range, some raw + beautiful and some more-structured + beautiful. This, "Balance," arrived a little while ago, and I consider myself lucky. Today his site exhibits recent…

Several pieces from that world have arrived in my mailbox. Her work and her self are marvels of color and imagination. Please don't miss finding out how she works: http://claudiamcgillart.wordpress.com/…

I became an instant fan of E. Coles when this abstract beauty showed up in the mailbox:
A great piece. Then this boekie of elegant scraps arrived, with wonderful monoprinted covers--a few shots are below, along with Emily's note giving some background. Thank you again, Emily:…

Wow--beautiful stark yet mellow sailing-ship stamps from Borderline Grafix, who allowed me to keep this intact sheet by sending another to use individually on mail art. Slowly getting back up to some kind of speed at m.a. here. These are showing up one at a time on outgoing m.a. envelopes from me, with credit to B.G. Beautiful. Thank you again, B.G.…

That's what HE says. But it's better than average.
Richard's random words of wisdom need to be Quotes of the Day someplace to benefit the imaginatively impoverished. I'd subscribe. Thank you, Richard, much appreciated as always. Best of all you've given me…

It's that state that happens after you're done with rest+retreat and before you can face the work of complete consciousness:
That one moment, and Carina catches it and describes it in her inimitable way. Great turn of mind, as always! Revelations! Thank you so much, Carina --- …

Again months ago, this comics-encased basket arrived from Erni:
He'd gotten one himself from the shop of his mysterious, possibly delirious, never-a-dull-moment friend Senator Watrin ("The Senator") in Hamburg and posted it, I coveted it out loud, and he went back and bought one for me. Fabulous mail art! I was and am thrilled with it, and as you can see, mail art at…
