Double Standards

Of all the things I have lost in life, I miss my mind the most.

It is supposed to be a free world and everyone is entitled to their opinion and in order to escape prosecution, any comment made must be prefaced with "In My Opinion".

"In My Opinion" There are entities who believe in double standards. An entity attacked me for a simple post on a question relating to political beings but apparently supports others who "allegedly" attack others more venomously.

As a…

Katerina Nikoltsou: The Easter Eggcellent Mail Art

In France church bells fly through the air and deliver chocolates to children.  OK OK, maybe French children are a little more gullible than the bunny children.  Well at least it is not as bad as the ritual whipping of girls in Moravia. (With real homemade whips!) I just never got my head around that Easter custom.…

Erni Bär: Unsigned Havana Club Can

It arrived in a very ingénues envelope of two pieces of cardboard stuck together with envelope pins.

And here it is, Erni's Unsigned Havana Club Can.  Sadly Erni has left the IUOMA website, but even more sad is he didn't sign this can.  I can't put it on e-bay is it…

Emily Coles: To April 2015

My very first Emily Coles original.  And what a beauty it is.  I had great difficultly coming up with a title for it.  But then I was inspired by what was written on the back; "2 April 2015" With thread, ink, charcoal on homemade paper, it was an instant hit here in…

Bob Grumman's Essay on Minimalist Poetry

The sad news of Bob Grumman's passing is sweeping through the network and vispo community.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Grumman

(The entry has not been updated to record Bob's passing.)

For me, Bob Grumman's writing about vispo is foundational; and I believe history will recognize him as one of the earliest and most influential writers in the vispo area. Bob was an active networker for many years. Many will…
