Knocked out by Norma's fabric ATC and mixed media card

In the mail today, two terrific mail art pieces from Norma Soulet!

I love the colour palette in both of these. Blues, violets and yellows have always called to me.  The fabric and stitchery ATC is just a mavel.  It was also one of those moments when you look at a piece and think "I would totally put these elements together in EXACTLY the same way". . . Norma, you speak my language!  Thank you so much! …

From: Richard Baudet (0112-1118)

Mail from November 2018:

Hats off to Richard Baudet (Marseille, France) for this lovely piece.

Center stage is the envelope art, where Richard features the 26 letters of the English alphabet - both ascending and descending. Richard decided to do this theme because he noticed that I had joined the…

Not Your Average Jonestown: The Rise of #dsfcult (Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA)

DSF 3.27.2019 - 1

Mail art by IUOMA member DSF (Dopesick San Francisco) (aka Michael Kelly) (Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA)

March 27, 2019 - I could begin this entry with a pithy, allusive statement such as: “By 2020 every mail artist will have their own cult.”

But anyone who has grazed even casually in the Elysian Fields of the Mink Ranch (my other blog) knows I am a longtime DSF fan & can thus cut to…

From: John M. Bennett (0115-1118)

November came a knockin' and my mailbox was a rockin' with a rather hefty envelope from John M. Bennett. In his note to me John mentioned, "Some reading matter for you enclosed - for yr [sic] edification or puzzlement (which are perhaps the same thing)." When I reviewed the generous offerings I conceded that JMB hit the nail on the head!…

Look at this awesome mail art from Jean Jackson

I received the most wonderful envelope of mail art from Jean Jackson.  It was packaged nicely in stamped paper that has a wonderful texture.  She sent a collaged ATC which is so cute...I remember Nancy from the comics. And an altered yearbook page which is superb.  Never thought of doing that.  The little notecard is really cute and I love your collection of stamps.  Thanks so much.  I will work on a return parcel soon.  …
