I was lucky and received two pieces from Jay Block. The first is a wonderful astro-landscape and the second another amazing pop-up. Thanks Jay! I love how you used the transparency of the paper in the postcard. The scene in your pop-up is fantastic. I don't know who's looking at whom...I'm looking, the lady is looking, "David" is looking and the mask is looking. It is another very cool pop-up! Thank you so much!

Dan sent this beautiful photograph which is was constructed from two 4x5 negatives. His process is complex. He manually manipulates the film, paints the film and then builds the image digitally. Does it get more hands on than this? The color of this photograph is amazing and the details of the overlay are beautiful (roses). This scanned picture does not do the work justice! It is amazing Dan!

Arac - "The information Age" Postie

This is three photographs merged and altered with nothing but the iphone. Janna is a pilot and you can see her plane to the left juxtaposed with butterflies from the zoo. I love the cool vintage look and bright colors!

MARS TOKYO

I received my first postcard from Mars Tokyo! Thanks! This looks to be a digital collage postcard. It has some great architectural elements and a sultry young women enticing me with cigarettes. I'm not sure what the x-rays are telling me. I'm tempted to take the card with me to the doctor to get the full diagnosis. Maybe its a warning that cigarettes cause broken clavicles? Not sure but this is a great postie. Thanks Mars Tokyo!!!!
