HI Angie & Snooky--Many thanks for your entry for my mail art Call. It's a wonderfully composed collage, plus  so colorful! Snooky you look like quite the charmer. I'll be posting it in my photos on IUOMA and on my blog http://decordisart.blogspot.com/

hello Angie I did receive purple mood art from you and Snookie last week and I have been so slow to scan it. Sorry about that because it's a lovely piece and purple has to be my fav colour :)

ning . . . what do I know, eh? I wasn't aware that ning.com was a social networking platform [or existed]. Never thought about it. I now have a new word in my lexicon. Yarp.

Mail-in! Thanks for the great postcard. I'm looking over the bits and pieces of the schematic and see a partial word that just might be 'theremin' in its entirety [it's missing the 't']. Is the schematic of a theremin? If not, I love it anyway. I never was very good at reading schematics so maybe I should stop trying so hard   :]    Hey, there's a word in your message that I really don't understand, '. . . Ni [something]' as in '. . . at the Ni**' is this a fluxus thing or do I just need to get better glasses?

Happy Mailart . . . Keith

We live near two schools and that was found at the elementary school a long time ago. My kids bring them for me and my husband finds most everything else. He works in a grocery store and picks stuff up passing it off that he is keeping the store super clean. my son says he hates my art because now he can't stop looking for good trash for me.  Me and my daughter went on a trashunt walk for a canvas I'm working on. She is digging through a trash can and says, 'this is a bad influence'. she's probably right:)I love those paper fortunes reminds me of my childhood--which unfortunately is too far away now.  How are things?

Thanks, glad you liked the recent arrival. A friend of mine said it looks like me only with curly hair. I wonder about this friend and think about recommending stronger glasses. Or else maybe I need to look in the mirror???

Anyway, I love making faces. There is just something about it, seeing what the expression will turn out to be.

Thanks for your ongoing appreciation of my work, it means a lot to me. Happy Saturday!

The red circle that the two girls are looking at in the card you sent me is not filled in, just a red circle. That has to mean something or they wouldn't be so intent upon it, that's my thinking. (I sort of thought of the orb Glenda the Good Witch traveled in in the Wizard of Oz, don't know why). So maybe something will be emerging from the sphere. Girls, better keep praying just in case it's not good.

Love knowing what the original setting was for the girls and only sorry their friend got left behind.

Got your postcard. Love it. First of all there is the orange color contrasting with the green and blue. Very vivid scheme and fits well with the actual scene of the 2 girls standing in the midday sun. As far as a caption, that was easy. These young ladies are obviously all dressed up for a worship service of the round red circle religion. One is more devout than the other, obviously, praying and serious. The one in the green dress is not so much. She looks uncomfortable.

Serious girl says to green dress girl : Psst! You'd better get your mind off your panty hose falling down and back on to praying, or the Red Circle will smite you. We didn't come all this way out here to be blasted to smithereens.

If I keep thinking about it I believe I could write a whole 30 minute episode, but I'll stop here. See what a good mail art image can do for you! Thank you!
