Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I think the potential for highly-intimate raw expression is astoundingly great with mail art... and that just so happens to be my aesthetic. I also believe mail art is one of the few egalitarian, participatory art-forms--I dig this.

welcome! i know i'm a bit tardy... checked out your blog and am in love! i really love the barriers that you break down with your intimate portraiture as your mail art. i also love how mail art is such an egalitarian and participatory art form... no judgment and open to everyone - you display this very prominently in your works. awesome!

Collective book of mail art.


Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.
