A Celebration of Judith A. Hoffberg's Life
For those who have either met or communicated with Judith A. Hoffberg at
some point in her 30+ years of publishing and networking, you know that she
will be missed. A memorial is planned in the near future. As part of the
tribute, an artist's book will be created in her memory and deposited with
her papers at the University of California, Santa Barbara. You may send an
8-1/2" x 11" page to the memorial to add to the book "A Celebration of
Judith A. Hoffberg's Life".

Expect something in the mail shortly.
Collective book of mail art.
Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...
Each participant will receive a volume.
Deadline: october, 2010.

think about where we might meet in harvard sq. or we can do a search on google for a place to meet. doug and i plan to get there between 2 and 2 thirty, at the harvard sq. subway stop. that will give us about an hour and a half before alison's lecture to get a coffee/bite to eat. doug knows garden st. where the radcliffe gym is so he should be a great help!!! maybe you know the campus, i don't, doug graduated from there in 1970 and really hasn't been back to the area in many many yrs. we all will have a great fun time together.
