P.O.Box owners

A post office box (often abbreviated P.O. Box or PO Box) is a uniquely-addressable lockable box located on the premises of a post office station. Why do you have one? What do you do with it. What is the advantage? How does yours look like?

Looking for a quick swap

I have a pile of notes taken from my desk covering various things I've had on my mind over the past few months (I'm not an extensive note taker, so these are only a handful of notes)I was thinking it would be fun to swap personal reminders etc. with someone else, if anyone else is up for it. Obviously they should be past-dated and not urgently important anymore.--MLSee More

Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I'm working on a series of collaborative (duo) artworks and am enlisting people I know from many different networks to help me to do this project. I'm not involved in mail art per-se, but I am interested in the possibility of collaborating with artists through the postal system on analog works.

The Void a Loved One Leaves

I've been revisiting death a lot over the past couple of weeks.

My son's, my father's, my grandparents'; now Guido Vermeulen's

People say to me, oftener than not, that the wounds get better with time. But it's been years and these things still leave a gaping hole inside of me, not able to seal itself shut and form a scar instead.

And it's not just death either. Sometimes it's someone just stepping out and calling it quits.

I guess, I'm not asking…

Returning to Mail Art After a Long Hiatus?

I haven't sent anything out in ages and my address list is a total disaster.

Not to mention I'm having a manic episode so things are running at 1k mph inside my skull...

I want to send out a small mass mailing to people

(I usually send out very large batches)

How would you approach organizing such a mailing?

Duo Collaborations

Posted on March 25, 2017 at 8:41am 0 Comments

I'm looking for folks to do a duo collaboration with; asking for multiple collage starters sent to me via email (moanlisa@moanlisa.com) and I will pick one of them to do a digital collage with. I will post both the original as well as the altered image on my website, moanlisa.com.

You can view the ones I've done…

Hello, dear Moan! Thank you for the friendship! Accept with pleasure. Will be  glad to take part in your future projects (analog preferably). I am not a frequent visitor of the site, more often at FB (when we are connected),  and mail, of course! All the best, Maria
