Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
The ethos and ethics - and I can't be doing with making yet more things to hang on walls, nor as a way to make money. Never got the hang of the money side of life.
But, please ... no more artistamps or faux-dollars, because the attraction's lost on me. You live and learn.

the incarcerated artist is not me

his envelopes reveal an address that will not work if you are interested in corresponding to the incarcerated one, Jeffrey Reddick. those are his watercolor envelopes. he is doing life in NC for an archaic 3-strikes-yr-out law. he likes mail & often responds with original watercolors inside original watercolor envelopes

i thought you were born under the sign of the Pig or else his year?

what else to do with countless flyers filled with the pigs of Piggly Wiggly, and with cases of used playing cards, but to make 2's & 3's of Pigs, & sometimes an ace of Pigs?

Pigaloo is outside Tugaloo, maybe?

Showing / sharing A&Ps

Not sure why, but I've not been regularly uploading and showing A&Ps here, either when they arrive or when I send them on. Not sure why - not really thought this one through. So now I'm adding all sorts of what's kept me busy in the months of the UK lockdown!

K. Rolina Gibson - anyone in contact?

Is anyone in contact with K. Rolina Gibson?

Her address on her IUOMA page is in the same region of England that I live in, so if she's still making mail art, I'd like to get in touch with her. But the last thing on her page here is from 2018.

Another A&P started by HilgART!

Another ADD&PASS started by HilgART ... is there no end to these? As soon as I add to one, another arrives! But I think this is the first made entirely from envelopes, which I do like.

Amy Irwen's already started something off in it which reads to me like chapter one of something that's not going to have a happy ending - a narrative of our times?…
