Cute critters. Since they're fast runners, it must be ok to hang out right smack on the railroad track, though at first it worried me.

Bueys's quote isn't only wabi-sabi, then. I love paint. But if you don't allow yourself to be limited by any one material or method, all is well for exploration, I expect--what Bueys meant, yes? The little slate reminded me of one I have also, I dug it out just now, and you can see it was a list of people to send mail art to. After sending, I'd put a line through the name. I recognize this list from about October last year before #@>/ hit the fan! The slateboard is much loved, I'm inspired to use it again. : 

Oha, good going. Bueys's handwriting is lyrical, I love to SEE it. Of course, since he wrote in German, I can't read a word. Does it literally say "the mistake has already begun when someone's about to buy frame and canvas"? I set out to try the translator but can't read even the alphabet letters in Bueys's beautiful handwriting to type them in the box.

On another note, a package arrived from you that is like my birthday. Alphabet letters! Chocolate! Bon-bons! THE bottles of erniness! Posters! Rust! Crushed cans! Collage! Even a whirl-i-gig type thingy! Wonderful, Erni, thank you very very much! It's great fun to open each little packet. I needed about three knives but had only one and eventually succeeded, haha. I expect to be able to get back to blogging any time now ...  The cans are absolute BEAUTIES and I am thrilled.
