"Carolyn, when I don't feel the inspiration I work as llog on my APs also...like you said one piece vs. facing a piece of blank paper... I think everyone goes thru this....work thru yours anyway you can..it will come back to you....be happy!"
"I’m artistically constipated. I am intimidated about coming up with a whole composition, whereas finding one little bit I can add to an A&P makes me happy. I like to communicate with other mailartists all over the world without feeling…"
"Glad you posted this and I got to read it. Parts just filled in some thoughts about mailart issues nagging away at me, issues like how I can combine a love of processes that take a lot of time (burning paper, dot paintings, and intricate paper…"
"Heide, light of my life, I meant the picture on my IUOMA page. I don’t know how to display the picture in the actual space designated for the wonderful badge you mailed me. I’m technologically challenged (to put it mildly).
Dear Carolyn, I am glad that the envelope arrived unharmed! Sorry that you had so much to do to get the card out of it! I thought the folio rather interesting and I have quite a lot of these transparent images, because I used them with a overhead projector to show my students.
The little black flecks are also a drawing from Seurat, just a sketch, done with charcoal on Ingrespaper, that's how it gets so freckled. I really love these drawings! What about your mixes media experiences? Did you enjoy it?
Hi Carolyn, your letter arrived just yesterday with this wonderful and amazing card in it! Really spectacular! I had the vision of very small mice making very small holes in the paper with even smaller teeth! It looks great! Weather is still warm and nuts, and a lot of other things you think of in autumn are already ripe and fall down!
I will think about something nice for a new card vor you!
