"I suppose that those opposed to Asemic endeavors are also dismissive of art therapy and other closely-related media associated with expression rooted in the subconscious.  How ironic."

"There was a spot on CNN in 1997/98 about a website devoted to Bad Art (www.badart.com no longer online).  In fact, they ran it again a few months later.  It had wonderful descriptions of each piece as well as the price.  There was one…"

IUOMA MOBA (Museum of Bad Art)

I frequent thrift stores looking for frames and canvases that I can re-use. I find something sad and intriguing about the handmade art that finds its' way into the donation piles.  As an offshoot of the amazing Museum of Bad Art  (MOBA) http://www.museumofbadart.org/I am hoping we can assemble a unique collection of the ugliest reject art out there. Profile Information

Mail-Artist since:
Hmmm, been doin' weird things with mail since the early 70s, but only with friends/family until 1994.
My Website:

Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
The usual reasons: it's truly democratic (if you ignore the poor folks who don't have mail service) and it is NECESSARY for my soul to create/share art in such a fashion. I can't quite put a finger on why I went from collecting stamps to making my own stamps when in my early teens thinking I was the only weirdo on the planet to do such a thing.

still under the weather, and slow in getting back to folks...thanks for directing me to "wicki" for a rather long, but interesting explanation of "fluxus art," and the rather interesting realization that it's my favorite genre to work in.

perforator lust - LOL! in the music world they call it "gear acquisition syndrome," or GAS for short! i have a bit of both. okay - alot!

thanks for the offer to perforate! as soon as i am ready for mass perforations, i will take you up on it!

good sunday to you and yours.
