Dean visited the house of Josephine Bonaparte, Napoleon's first wife, and sent me an almost symmetrical, mirror image style card made from leaflets he found there.

The back is a history lesson, showing Josephine's family tree, and a wonderful stamp sheet that Dean always seems to get his hands on!

Oooh, I LOVE crepes. They're my current addiction, and my waistline knows it! ;)
Thanks again Dean. I think it got a little folded when they stuffed it in my postbox, but it's still great. I enjoy getting stuff that's an unusual size or shape, keeps the postal workers on their toes!

Looks better on your stand than in real life.

   Well that stamp is really something.  I asked the lady at the post office if she ever heard of this battle, and she said "non".
  Strangest thing to celebrate a battle 300 years ago on a stamp.  Don't they have fun things to celebrate, like the invention of Crepes?
