Debra was recently in Greece, and found this old , fragile envelope,
in the Flea Market of Monasteraki in Athens!
Very rare and unusual stamps...when Thessaloniki was called "Salonique"
by the French, before the city was freed in 1912 from Turkish occupation.
The city was named Thessaloniki in 315 BC for the step sister of
Alexander the Great. She was born…
