The original that I received from her family anoucing het death:
We would like to let Patricia Tavenner’s friends know that Patricia passed away yesterday morning, 5/10/2013, in Oakland California. Patricia had been battling cancer. The day before she had on a sparkly hat and scarf and greeted the nurses with a smile. She was in a place that took good care of her. A Celebration of Life is planned for sometime Memorial weekend. The family is still working out details. Please share this with others who would like to know.
