Orange lovers

When I was preparing this mail to send to two Orange lovers, I found out that there still is no IUOMA-group for Orange lovers.

So here it is! If Orange is your favourite colour, and if you want to share Orange mail with the world: join!

(by the way, my favourite colour is Turquoise...)

Thanks for the picture! Concerning Felipe, I'm afraid that almost eveyone in spain (except journalists) is calling him "prince" :/

Correction: the old Willem of Orange was innocent, had a good relationship with van Oldenbarnevelt, but it was his son Maurits of Orange who got a conflict and finally had him executed.

Oh yes, I can (I'm Dutch :-) ). You got it :-)

By the way, many Dutch tend to call the former queen Beatrix still 'queen', and the elder people among us (and stamp lovers) even call her late mother, Juliana, also queen (concerning stamps: still there's the stamp 'Juliana Regina', freely translated into 'Juliana rules' (she was a very sympathetic queen)).

To end with the subject (orange, mail), here some stamps of the Oranje family (the person top left is not family but has to do something with the Orange history, too, as you see).

Not sure if you can say "the new Spanish King, prince Felipe" :D

I'm glad that it arrived on time (more or less).

Also today (still Queen's day to me) this Orange-surrounded Smurf King envelope landed in my place (in real the envelope is even more orange orange if you know what I mean).

Even the picture on the stamp on the left, showing the new Spanish King, prince Felipe, is Orange!

Thank you very much, Eva!

Haha, thank you Carina!

Well, today (30 April) used to be Queensday my entire life (so you are in time!).

Until last year, when WA's birthday became THE day: 27th of April, and King's day instead of Queensday... Netherlands turned orange again :-) (and are back to normal life now).

Thank you Heleen! Good to see it arrived. A little late, but Happy Koningsdag :)
