Hey guys and gals, I need some funds too!

In future I think my Mail Art activities will be conducted as follows:

-- a one off Val masterpiece Envelope or collage-type Card will cost you €300 or €250 respectively

-- a one-off Arty-Slide will cost you €400 (for a double) or €500 (for a single) example

-- Pooh Sticks are priced at €100, €187 and €351 for small, medium and large examples

-- an annual subscription -- guaranteeing you at least 5 pieces a year -- can be your for a special introductory offer of €600

-- if I send you an e-mail you must pay €150 for it: if billytulip sends you one the price is slightly higher €560 (slightly?)

-- any piece larger than A5 size will be priced at the rate of €50 per extra square centimetre

-- agent's fees, taxes, bribes, value added tax,  and other associated miscellaneous costs (including admission fees for bunga-bunga parties chez Silvio) are extra

-- as are postage costs and the costs of me going to the post office

-- I maintain all intellectual property rights to whatever I sell you, and will receive at least 75% of whatever selling on fee you charge

-- this fee rises to 85% for films, DVDs, iPids, iRons, and whatever i can think about next

-- moneys are to be paid into my off-shore bank account before works are shipped. Ruud will provide you with the necessary details (for a fee of course).

Regards €€€€€€$$$$$$£££££, sorry I mean, Regards, Val

Monikka, NO and NO again, it's not your Human & Nature/Human & Technology project. I have no problems with that whatsover and all the information that you ask for is perfectly acceptable. My comment was about the Fundraiser one.

Best wishes, Val

I have contributed Mail Art to calls for it that are to raise money for a cause - like the hematology society in Greece or MS organization is Spain. I will enter small works shows, where the size might be similar to standard postcard size, but I don't consider entering my Mail Art in an exhibit where there is a fee to enter and the work is sold. I think of my Mail Art world as different from the art exhibit, gallery world.

Hi Angie - In answer to your question, I've seen a few mailart sites that were asking for contributions but they were also asking for an entry fee as well. The majority of solicitations have not asked for anything other than the art you wish to contribute. I've not encountered any exhibitions that offered mailart for sale.

Dear Valentine,

Did you mean this to the Project Human and Nature? Because there's no form filling in this case. Those 3-4 important data you should include is important, because of the exhibition among other things, like publication, etc.

Anyway, we are receiving beautiful mail arts, and I'd like to thank all of you, who is already participating!

re 'Postcards from the Edge' -- it's so complicated! What happened to simple Mail Art where you just mailed a piece to someone, I'd love to contribute to this, but I'm not going to go through all the downloading, form filling, info providing, etc hassel: it could take me more time to do the administration than make some mail Art. Keep it simple, folks...please!

Dear friends!
Ib just want to thank you for those stunning Mail Arts from all over the world, that we are getting day by day to our project: Human and Nature, Human and Technology. They are beautyful! THANK YOU! Monika

Between 6th and 9th December  2010, two works of mine from the “Doscientos” serie “desappear” from the Exhibition Gallery. With some fragments of the photos I`d taken I made stamps to send all over the world, to keep on shouting for justice and freedom.

I´m inviting you to send me your own shout. Postcard 10 x 15 cm. When your postcard arrive I'll send envelope and stamps to you.

Technique free. No jury. No return.

Send to:

Marcela Peral

Reconquista 1442 - Rosario - S 2013 BXV - Argentina

Online exhibition:

Deadline: Extended till 31th December

Dear Everyone!

The Stamp Museum of Hungary, Budapest launches a new project!!

The topic is: "Human and Nature, Human and Technology"

Everyone is welcomed to take part of this project, and we will make a big exhibition at the end, that opens on the Nights of the Museum event, with jazz music.

So I wish for everybody a good work! The details can be found on the attached image, but I'll be happy to reply all your questions!

Have a nice and creative day:
