January and 2012 looks bleak, so far.

Is NOTHING happening at all in the Mail Art Exhibition world?

Ruud, what's the address for the Women in Art/Venezuela project, please? My poor old eyes can't read the rather blurred thing you've posted.

Thanks and regards, Val

To KDJ: look at the links given at the top of this page for 'Postcards from the Edge' (sounds like someone from U2?), follow them and you'll find all the details. Now please send me €150, or a chocolate biscuit. Thank you.

To the Rest of the World: it will probably not come as a surprise to you that some 12 hours after posting my 'tariff rate' I have received exactly nothing. Unless many of you send me large sums of money in the very, very near future I will have to abandon my under-ambitious fund-raising plans, and revert to being an ornery ole Mail Artist, poor and starving in my miserable, cold, attic studio, and surviving on bits of bread I find in the streets, and mice and things that the cats bring home. I'm sure you get the picture, so now send the money, as it's all in a good cause -- moi!

Regards Val

PS superhero's free art was the antithesis of all of this, i think. That's because he is super (or a super)
